I started riding in 1991 as an adult and soon after bought my first horse Soloman a giant at 17 hnds 2 . I loved this gentle giant we did everything , show jumped , Dressage, Hunting and a little X country . When I moved from Edinburgh to London he came with me then from there to York he lived to the grand old age of 28 yrs .
In 1997 I bought Dillan a very elegant 17hnd 3 boy and planned to do some serious X - Country but he didn`t agree !! So we went show jumping instead .
Then in 2000 came Oliver my first real Event horse and we had a ball !!! with some tumbles on the way my highlights were coming 3rd at our first 2 day event. Then going to Blair 1* 3 day Event he was a real superstar.
Max was bought as a 3yr old in 2001 and is a superstar across country and we managed to do various Burghley 5yr old Events including Bramham .
Chip was an Advanced Event horse when I got him but he had various problems and became just a fun Schoolmaster.
Echo was my Ist real baby I bought just a year old and as a 3yr old came 2nd at Bramham in the future Event horse he was also 12th at Frys Future International Dressage Star.
The horses have played a huge part in my life and although I have not done as much in the last 2 yrs I do still hope to have a huge amount of fun with them .
Huby a special gift from a friend he is a super 16 Hnd 3 Oldenburg Gelding who excels at dressage we compete at Medium level at the moment but he has the potential to go the whole way !!
My daughter Imogen has 2 ponies Meg and Biscuit and loves to ride and has been quite successful in the competitions she has taken part in .
I have judged Dressage at Pony Club and Intro to Novice level and enjoy the small amount of teaching of young riders that I also do.
Finnbar " Satlas Kingsman " was purchased from Mrs Goodacre in 1996 and he introduced me to the wonderful breed of Irish setters . He has been a much loved member of our family and has been a total joy to live with joining us on every family holiday and coming with me to many of my horse competitions ! I am so lucky to own this boy and appreciate every day that we still have him .
Therewas a 14 month dog looking for a home due to a family break -up. I phoned about him and was lucky to be approved . I went to pick up Dooley in the December and he certainly made Christmas much better for Immy and us as we missed Rory so much.
